About the location

This secluded villa is tucked away in a traditional Balinese village close to the river and rice fields, but only 3 miles from the developing tourist areas of Canggu and Pererenan. While Canggu (10 mins) boasts surf beaches, yoga retreats, healthy living outlets, spas, dozens of new style bars, live music at the beach, boutiques and restaurants catering for every taste, it is still relaxed and quiet compared to major tourist areas of Asia; Jewellery and crafts, temples, spas and golf resort (20 mins); Ubud - cultural centre (45 mins).

Because of its location, north of the tourist areas, it is easy to get out into the countryside and visit the `real` Bali, by car or bicycle.

So this is a traditional style villa, stacked with Balinese arts and crafts, but close to all modern tourist facilities as well as, in the other direction, unspoilt Balinese temples, rice terraces, mountains and villages.
